Can’t say enough great things about this business! I was looking for someone to do a timing belt replacement on a used car I recently purchased. I found 1up from Bri’s comment on Nextdoor and I’m so glad I did. From the start of the call to the end of the service, I was met with kindness and professionalism. Justin and Bri give you an option to sign a waiver if you want to go see what will be done to your vehicle in the shop. That was probably the coolest experience ever. Justin explained the intricacies of the work he’d be doing very clearly. Not once did anyone make me feel dumb. They gave me a fair price and did wonderful work. I’m thrilled! I’ve found an honest and trustworthy mechanic. I had an AWESOME experience at 1UP Complete Auto Care. Justin is mechanic and shop owner and he’s awesome. Transparent, trustworthy, and an upstanding guy who knows his stuff. He’ll WILL give you common sense advice on what needs attention and repair. But he WON’T try to sell you every repair under the sun. I think the biggest compliment I can give is just to say that: If my mom lived nearby, I’d even trust Justin to work on her car — no questions asked. And I wouldn’t feel the need to tag along because I’d know she’d be treated with honesty. What a relief to have found someone I can trust with my wheels!
About a month ago I was making an 18 hour drive, from Alberta Canada to Garden City Kansas, to go down to school. My car broke down in FortCollins and I was stranded. It was on a Friday Afternoon and I had called over 20 auto repair shops and nobody had time to see me. Luckly the last place I called was 1UP, I told them my situation and they went out of their way to help me by staying open an extra hour, they work for close to 2 hours on my car, only charged me for one hour, and they got me back driving and I road smooth the rest of the way. These are some really good people who will take care of you and your vehichle!
I am beyond pleased by the wonderful care at 1 UP. I have never left an auto shop feeling so good. The staff is super personable and helpful. By far the best mechanic in town!! My experience in dealing with Justin and Bri was like talking to some friends who want to help you and make sure everything is done correctly. With Bri ordering the parts and processing the paperwork you’re assured that everything is in order. Justin taking care of the vehicle repairs who is upfront and honest about what needs to get done immediately and what can wait. Life Savers!! I can’t state enough how these people made a very stressful, long, hard day into a calming and reassuring situation. They welcomed us in without an appointment, took the time to see our car immediately as we were in a very tough situation after traveling a thousand miles and at the end of our rope as to what to do. From the moment we arrived, through the diagnostic and inspection, the explanation of issues, the thoroughness and attention to every detail, they put us at ease and had suggestions and references, they took a stressful situation and turned it into a heartwarming experience. Not what we expected to happen at a mechanic shop and a car breaking down a thousand miles from home. I would recommend this couple to anyone seeking honest, professional, thorough, and knowledgeable mechanic and shop manager. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!
